It’s taken eight years of negotiations, but leaders at the G20 summit in Pittsuburgh have reaffirmed that Doha trade negotiations are on track for completion next year.
       
       There are some sticking points though, with the Australian Government concerned about a proposal to limit surges in imports to developing countries.
       
       It wants to make sure the mechanism does not interfere with trade growth.
       
       Australian Trade Minister Simon Crean says a Doha agreement is expected to open up new markets for Australian sugar, dairy and meat producers.
